With the latest worldwide Pew research poll showing the U.S. in continuing disrepute, I though I'd post some Euro opinion that seems a rather good summary of the situation: "One is never sure which of two characteristics is more prominent in the American national character and therefore of the greater significance: naivete or a superiority complex."
UPDATE: Did I forget to mention that this quote is actually from Goebbels 1942 essay "God's Country" in Das Reich? It most definitely is Euro opinion. Plus ca change...
