"Osama bin Laden, America's most wanted man, will not face capture in Pakistan if he agrees to lead a "peaceful life," Pakistani officials tell ABC News.

The surprising announcement comes as Pakistani army officials announced they were pulling their troops out of the North Waziristan region as part of a "peace deal" with the Taliban. [ What happens when you violate the Prime Directive and let the enemy have nukes: Osama is now under the Pakistani nuclear umbrella. But the neo-Syndicalists love to argue we ought to pull out of Iraq -- intolerable casualties and all that -- and invade Pakistan. I'm sure that would go well ... other than a few tens of millions dead anyway... -ed. ]
