But the author implies that the jihadis are using "adrenaline" to improve their combat performance. In reality, injecting--or taking pills of, I suppose--adrenaline would have the opposite effect. Maybe the insurgents are taking painkiller/speed cocktails, but if so it's an idiotic thing to do. They'll move slower, talk a lot faster, not be able to sleep and become increasingly paranoid and delusional. Great idea.
